Happy 18th Birthday Jensen~

 

It's a big weekend for Jensen, he submitted his application to become an Eagle Scout, and he is turning 18!  Here is one of his senior pictures.  Jensen is my quiet unassuming child who never wants his pictures taken.   He finally caved in when we explained that it was for mama and not him, the only condition was that we don't post on Facebook.  Well after he saw the pictures he said it was ok if I put a few on there.  We are so proud of him and the wonderful person he is.  He is a wonderful big brother to Faith and is very nurturing.  For his Eagle Project he organized a local "Walk the Wall" where he raised over $2500.00 for the non profit group International China Concern.  Here are a few pictures of his project!   I am so excited to see what other contributions he makes to society as he continues to grow and progress.  We love you J!

Day 18 ~ Silly Girl

I am surprised at how easy taking Faith's picture every morning has become.  It is just part of the getting ready process, eat breakfast, comb hair, brush teeth, get picture taken.  I am so glad she is having fun with it.  Most mornings are candid shots, meaning I say, "Let's get your picture taken." She comes along casually to the porch still holding the toys she is playing with.  Yesterday it happened to be a mirror.  I captured her playing with it before we got to the ,"say cheese" part.  Today she was watching Sponge Bob (her favorite) and playing with her matching doll.

Day 12 ~ No Pressure?

Day 12 has a great story!  I went to Chicago to visit my grandmother and Faith's daddy was in charge. Poor guy, it was picture day at school, plus the pressure of my assignment to get a picture of her before she leaves.  I think he did a great job as Mr. Mom!  Thanks hun:)
