Our church sponsored a Father's Day BBQ for the primary age children and their dads...this photo was taken while they were leaving our home. 

So many local children...

I was online this morning and stumbled across a photolisting of children avaliable in the Pacific Northwest.  I had no idea there were this many children without parents.  It just breaks my heart.  Please take a look at the site and forward to others...maybe your child is there!

Annual Memorial Vacation..."My fave's"

Last year we were at our summer vacation spot and I remember bringing my picture book of Faith along. Anyone that was within ear shot got to hear about my daughter waiting in China, and then see the pictures I had of her. I remember saying..."Next year she will be here!" Well it's next year and we had so much fun watching Faith's "firsts". These are my favorite pics.

5 Month Gotcha Anniversary!

A few months ago I purchased tickets for the Mariner's game and didn't realize it was on Faith's five month Gotcha anniversary. Hooray!
 Words can't describe how blessed we feel, the time has gone so quickly I really can't believe it's already been 5 months.   She is such a happy little thing...I think now that she understands everything we say and we understand most of what she is saying has helped decrease the frustration level.  I need to video her talking...she is just speaking so well. Maybe sometime this weekend!  The first picture is cut off, the bigger lens was on the camera when we asked Jensen's friend to take the shot...but at least we got one!   We also took her on our yearly camping/boating trip...I haven't had time to go through the pictures , but there are some cute ones!  The next big events are her 3rd birthday and Spencer coming home!  We are so excited for this summer!

I surprised myself!

So I am not domestic at all...but somehow I was inspired to try and make a baby blanket for a shower I am going to this weekend...well the blanket is a wonderful gift alone but I wanted to give more... so I decided to embellish the bear. I think it's so cute...I really can't believe I made them.
