Sending Faith a care package!

So I have been pricing custom pillows for Faith, and it would cost me around $100.00 to send her one. I decided to see if I could make it myself and here is the finished product. I also put together a photo book, some "hair pretties" and Hello Kitty things. (Total price $8.00) I will let you know how much I spend in shipping, hopefully not $100.00. I had the material and the picture paper already at home. I think the most difficult part will be filling out the customs forms that are required for international shipping...

LID...Logged in Dossier DaTe!

We heard from our agency, and our official LID date is ...drum roll...August 12, 2009. The official countdown can begin!

By this time next year....

We just got back from a small vacation boating, and it seemed every little moment of quiet either myself or Jeff would utter something like, " By this time next year we will be doing this with Faith." or " Next time we come here we will be teaching Faith how to swim...I wonder if Faith will like boating as much as we do, I sure hope so." She is already such a big part of our thoughts and hopes it has become natural to include her in small ways like this.
I also am mentally keeping track of how long it has been since our Dossier was sent to China. That was such a large to do list, it kept us busy and focused. Now there is no list, and the quiet moments almost seem to last forever. This is a real test of patients, and I am determined to trust in the Lord's timing and not stress about the time-line. It will happen when it's suppose to happen. For now I will enjoy the thoughts of her with us and the dreams I sometimes am blessed to enjoy!

DTC! Dossier to China!

Our Dossier was wired to China YeSTerDAy!!!!! Hopefully it will be logged in within the next few days, then best case scenario our Letter of final Approval from China will arrive 10-14 weeks later. After our letter of approval we get travel dates!!! We are hoping she will be home with us to celebrate Christmas. Keep up the prayers!
