We get to see Hong Kong!

We just got off the phone with our travel agent. We are confirmed to leave Seattle on December 30th...travel to Beijing for a 3 day tour before we travel to meet our daughter in her province, Hunan. From there we will travel to the American consulate in Guangzhou, finish up her paperwork and her visa, then travel by train to Hong Kong where we will get to stay overnight and fly home. Loving it!

  3. Yea! We just got home from China with our girl, and I am taking a few moments to catch up on my favorite blogs. I am so excited you have your travel news. We went in and out of Hong Kong, and got to spend an entire day. It is a lovely city - very clean. I can't wait to watch you bring Faith home! Congrats again!

  4. That is so awesome! We also flew through HK and got to take the train from GZ to HK. Will it be daylight hours? I enjoyed watching the scenery roll by as we went along. Just remember in case your agency did not tell you-- it if you have to go directly from the train station to the airport, cabs are super easy to find... in fact, they'll find you for sure! And since you have to change money to pay for any tranfers, the money exchange is right there as you come out of immigration. Have fun!
    Be blessed,
    Courtney
