I just read your comment. I also have Type 1 diabetes and I wear an insulin pump. Let me know if you ever need to talk "diabetes" stuff. I have had it for 18 years now.
I don't have my followers posted on my blog, but you can still follow us by putting our blog address in on the 'follow blogs' part on your dashboard...I hope this makes sense.
I have my blog designed by Tina at thestoryofyou.net This time we used a Chinese New Year pack from: http://scrapgoo.lliella.com/ but Tina also has lots of Chinese stuff on her site and she tells her resources so you can buy it too.
I'm glad that we've met...and I can't wait to follow your China adventure!
We got our LOA on 9/30 as well! We were told December travel (hopefully) and even possibly January. I am not holding my breath. :) Our i800 paperwork is out and we are just waiting again...oh our orginal LOA is lost and a new one is being requested Wed night (thur am in China). We live in Alaska so perhaps we will meet up in China!! We are with WACAP.
Congratulations! That is so exciting! Our LID dates were so close I'm hoping that we get our LOA soon too. I have loved getting to know your family through your blog and it would be great if we could travel at the same time! So happy for you!!!
Welcome to our little piece of the world wide web! A little about us ~ I am Dawn, and my husband is Jeff. We have five children. When our youngest was 10 we prayed to see if our family was complete, we were prompted to adopt.
(How grateful we are that we listened to that prompting) We returned from China in January 2010 with our daughter FAITH who is now 5 years old. This is our blog "Faith in Every Footstep." Now that we are home, I use this blog to record our family adventures and daily school pictures of our little peanut! Enjoy~
Faith's Chinese name is SiSi. The character Si means "to think, consider"
Born not from our flesh but born in our hearts you were longed for, wanted and loved from the start!
About Faith Hengsi
Yang Hengsi was found by local poeple at the gate of the orphanage of Hengyang City on July 13th 2007. She was estimated to be about 5 days old. She was diagnosed with hyperthermia and hospitalized. (In July, when she was found, the temperatures reach 105 degrees.) We believe she was left out in the heat for an extended period of time. Local police did a lot of searching but failed to find her birth parents, as nobody claimed her, she was sent to be raised in the orphanage at 24:00 hours being July 14th.
In China she had been diagnosed with hydrocephalus from a CT scan. This diagnosis was inaccurate; we know this because of the MRI she recently had here in the states. She does have a birth defect with her brain tissue called Agenesis of the Corpus collossum.

We had Donovan for about 3 days when the opportunity to go and visit the
orphanage had come up. We were not all able to go unfortunately so Kendall
went on...
Hengyang city has 805,000 residents and is just over 2 hours south of Changsha by road. Hengyang was traditionally known as the ‘goose city’ because of the number of geese that migrated through it. It’s also the leading transportation centre of Hunan, linking water, rail and highway routes.
